All orders are processed to ship within 24-48 hours. In Canada you will receive your order within 3-6 business days and in the U.S., 5-7 business days from the ship date. At this time, Clover offers shipping within Canada and the continental U.S only.

Free shipping is offered when you spend over $59 in your currency (CAD or USD).

In Canada, for orders under $59 CAD, standard shipping is $13 and expedited shipping is $24. In the U.S.A., for orders under $59 USD, shipping is $15 USD with no expedited shipping offered at this time. To learn more see our Shipping Policy.

We offer samples to our wholesale customers upon request and from time to time we will offer samples to our retail customers in their orders as a gesture to help you try blends that you haven’t ordered in the past.

At this time we do not accept returns due to the restrictions for organic food and beverage products as well as food safety requirements.

Adaptogens are known for their unique ability to help the body adapt to stress, support normal metabolic function, and help restore homeostasis. They increase the bodies resistance to physical, biological, and environmental stressors by providing an arsenal that helps the body cope with symptoms of stress such as anxiety, mental fatigue and sleeplessness before they hit. They come in many forms (plants, roots, herbs, mushrooms) and are called adaptogens because of their ability to “adapt” their function according to suit the body’s specific needs.

Adaptogens work by interacting with the brain and adrenal glands to help shift the physiological effects of stress, helping the body to positively adapt. They can have opposing effects - they can be relaxing or stimulating, they can help improve restfulness but also increase endurance. The correct response is triggered according to the body’s specific needs at that time - consider it an intuitive push in the right direction. Check out our Adaptogens page to learn more.

Clover products can be consumed daily and tailored to your lifestyle as you see fit. There’s no such thing as too much of our products.

All of our tea blends can be consumed any time you please with the exception of our Energy blend, which is lightly caffeinated due to the Yerba Mate. That being said, the amount of caffeine is a fraction of what you would get from a cup of coffee and can be enjoyed for its mental alertness without the jittery effects commonly experienced with coffee.

Traditional tea (Camellia sinensis) can most definitely be steeped for too long but Clover teas are actually herbal blends that don’t contain Camellia sinensis. We advise a steep time between 6-10 minutes, but feel free to steep longer if it suits your taste.

Clover products do not contain any allergens, and in some cases Adaptogens may actually have an anti-allergy effect.

Yes, all Clover products are vegan and gluten-free.

Currently our products are not certified kosher but we plan to have this certification in the near future.

Clover products are best enjoyed within two years from production. Production and best before dates are printed on all of our product packaging.

We recommend that you speak to your child’s pediatrician or health care provider before giving them Clover products.

We recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before consuming any Clover products while pregnant or nursing.

We recommend consulting with your doctor before consuming any Clover products while taking prescription medication or other supplements.

In order to be considered an adaptogen they must fulfill the following criteria:

1. They must be relatively non-toxic to the body's normal physiological functioning

2. They must produce a non-specific defensive response to stress, building a reserve of “adaptive energy” to keep the body balanced when affected by multiple stressors or harmful influences.

3. With their unique bidirectional effect they have a normalizing influence on the body’s (hyper/hypo) metabolic function.

With that said, we can’t see anything negative about the effects of adaptogens!

We do our best to facilitate zero-waste from our products by providing sustainable packaging that avoids the landfill through compostable and upcyclable materials. Our packaging is plastic-free - Clover tea bags (sachets) are biodegradable and our canisters are made from recycled steel. To learn more about our packaging, check out Sustainable Packaging.

We chose to eliminate strings and tags from our pyramid sachets because we feel it is an element of waste that isn’t needed. We don’t want our customers to have to worry about glue, plastic, staples, bleached strings, or other questionable things that would contaminate the blends when a tag and string is incorporated.
